NH Children's Mental Health Focus Groups

HELP Set the Direction!
SHARE your thoughts, attitudes and observations about the NH children’s mental health system!

The Endowment for Health is sponsoring NH’s Children’s Mental Health Focus Groups for parents or primary caregivers of children and youth (ages birth through 21 years) who are currently receiving mental health services (public or private). The thoughts, attitudes, and observations of those who are using the children’s mental health system are important to the Endowment for Health as they move forward with the 2007 awards for the Children’s Mental Health and Families theme grant program. The theme grant will focus on selected health-related themes that address critical unmet mental health needs that affect a significant number of children, youth, and their families in New Hampshire.

The focus groups are for ADULTS ONLY and there will be a $25.00 stipend provided to each family of a child(ren) or adolescent(s) under the age of 21 who is currently in the mental health system (public or private) who participates in the focus group. The focus group will be facilitated by the National Alliance on Mental Illness NH (NAMI NH). The focus groups will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED due to limited seating. Please call 223-5359 and ask for Claudia. If leaving a message, please provide your name and telephone number.
