Bridging the Rivers - A Family and Community Conversation with Returning Service Men and Women

For the first time in New England, two states are coming together to help returning combat service members from all branches of the military, members of their families, medical and social services providers in the civilian and veterans domains, educators, clergy, and other interested members of the community learn about the challenges facing citizen soldiers and their families as a consequence of service in a combat zone.

The program itself includes:
Keynote Presenter Filmmaker Jay Craven
Creator of the documentary “After the Fog”

Presentations from Leaders in Vermont and New Hampshire services for combat veterans and their families.

A compelling presentation on deployed family members by Kids on the Block

A significant block of time will feature facilitated conversation in break-out groups for military members and families, service providers, clergy, educators and other community members.
